Day Trips from Bozeman

Nomadic By Nature Day Trips:

All day trips begin and end in Bozeman, Montana.  You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning; breakfast will be provided and we'll have a scenic drive into the park.

Once in Yellowstone, we'll visit the historic Fort Yellowstone, and start into Lamar Valley where we'll see the bison herds and other wildlife.  We'll provide light hiking opportunities and lunch at a scenic picnic area.

A typical day lasts from 7 am to 5 pm.



$500 for one person, plus $50 for each additional person

Gear Provided By Nomadic By Nature:

  • Breakfast, lunch, binoculars, bear spray, trekking poles, first aid kit

What You Need To Bring:

  • Walking/hiking shoes, light jacket, rain jacket, hat, sunglasses, refillable water bottle, snacks.

  • When packing for a day trip, please consider the weather and time of year. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us.

How Booking Works:

  • Call to book— we'll make sure that a guide is available for your preferred date, and then send you a booking link via email, or make the booking over the phone.

  • Full payment for your group is due at the time of booking (plus a 6% park fee).

  • Please complete the health questionnaire, sent with your confirmation email. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • There are no refunds once the reservation is made.
